You are invited to a workshop taking place as part of the thesis research for a Masters in Environmental Education and Communication. It will be made up of environmental education practices from professionals in the field, such as Joanna Macy, Renee Lertzman and George Marshall. The purpose of this research is to explore, and better understand, the application of these practices. The morning will be made up of exercises to reflect on our feelings around the environment, and the afternoon will move into tools and strategies to create a personal sense of agency and well-being.
Breakfast snacks and a vegan lunch are included. Participants may be asked for an interview two to three weeks after the workshop. Any data you offer will be completely anonymous. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Facilitators: Amy Spark and Roberta Waddell
